Product Overview
Butyl-Flex Rubber Gutter & Flashing Sealant is a single component, butyl rubber sealant that seals seams, joints, and gaps on metal gutters, flashing, and roof penetrations. Use it as an exterior gutter and flashing sealant to stop leaks where water can work into lap joints, fasteners, and transitions. The butyl rubber formula adheres to wet or damp surfaces for reliable sealing when conditions are not perfectly dry. It forms a 100% waterproof and weatherproof seal to help block water intrusion. The durable seal stays flexible to resist cracking and crumbling from temperature extremes and weathering. Butyl-Flex adheres to metal, aluminum, galvanized steel, copper, wood, concrete, and masonry for repairs around gutters and flashing details. It is paintable for a finished look on exposed joints and seams. Meets ASTM C1311 for butyl rubber sealants used in exterior applications.
