Product Overview
Rust‐Oleum Chalkboard is an ultra‐hard, scratch resistant finish that allows you to create a unique writable‐erasable surface. Ideal for use on doors, tables, cabinets, picture frames, flower pots and more. Can be applied to wood, metal, glass, terra cotta, paperboard, and hardboard. It is also great for resurfacing ping pong tables.
Features
- Painted chalkboards are for indoor use only.
- Chalkboard painted surfaces can be cleaned with soap and water.
- Available in black chalkboard spray paint, pre‐mixed brush‐on chalkboard paint in black and green, and as a tint base that can be mixed at your retailer’s paint counter.
- Apply Chalkboard brush paint with a foam roller but avoid excessive rolling.
- Before using chalkboard spray paint on an immobile surface, like a wall, make sure to adequately vent the room for the recommended cure time and protect areas from over spray.
- Once the paint has cured, prepare the surface for chalk by rubbing side of chalk over entire surface and erasing.
- Do not use an abrasive sponge to clean the chalkboard surface.
